In
the case of items protected by paper adhesive-backed labels, the
label must be deactivated at the point of purchase, otherwise when
the item is carried through the exit gates protected by a EAS (electronic
article surveillance) system, an alarm will sound.
Our deactivation system makes this operation fast and easy. Our
deactivator is very flexible and enables the tag to be deactivated
by swiping it over a scanner pad either visible or hidden under
the counter.
The same device can be integrated into either a handheld scanner
or a bar code scanner so that the clerk is scanning the product
code at the same time he is deactivating the security system.
The electronic deactivator is invisible and does not require contact
with the label, enabling adhesive labels to be deactivated from
a distance of up to 30 cm or while they are inside the product package.
Electronic deactivators do not damage magnetic mediums such as credit
cards, floppy disks, musicassettes and videocassettes.

Exus
Sky
is an active deactivator that detects, deactivates and checks if the
deactivation has been successful. In order to achieve this, Exus
Sky uses the most advanced digital technology in the market.
Its the ideal solution for stores where presentation style proximity
deactivation is needed. The unit can deactivate EAS labels up to 10
cm above its surface.
Exus Sky has an extreme small size. It
has no external control box as all electronics are compactly packed
inside the casing. The deactivator, therefore, doesnt need much
space on the counter, so it can be placed just about anywhere in the
POS area, wherever its most convenient.
